Daiquiri (Traditional) (DJS)

Ingredient

  • 2 oz Bacardi Carta Blanca Superior White Rum
  • 3⁄4 oz Lime juice
  • 1⁄2 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup
  • 1⁄2 oz Sugar syrup 'rich'

Glass:

Serve in a Coupe glass

How to make:

Add ingredients to shaker tin. Fill with ice and shake for a full 30 seconds. Double-strain into well-chilled cocktail glass. Can also be served on the rocks (only shake for 10-15 seconds.)

Review:

Terrific! Bright and not too tart (possibly a bit sweet for some tastes so adjust accordingly or try using standard 1:1 simple syrup instead.) Best served as cold as possible so get that glass a'chillin' ahead of time!

Bittersweet and spicy this is a warming, comforting winter aperitivo

Four Flush(er)

Spicy arrack notes shine in this cocktail that's best described as being rum's answer to a Martini

Lime wheel on edge of glass or floating on top. Or lime twist.
