Ingredient

  • 3⁄4 oz Cognac
  • 3⁄4 oz Calvados / apple brandy / straight applejack
  • 1⁄2 oz Green Chartreuse
  • 3⁄4 oz Lemon juice
  • 1⁄3 oz Sugar syrup 'rich'
  • 1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters

Glass:

Serve in a Coupe glass

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare lemon slice wheel garnish.

How to make:

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. Garnish with lemon slice wheel.

Spirituous, sour, balanced and delicious with herbal notes, two brandies, and citrus freshness.

History:

Adapted from a recipe created in 2021 by J. E. Clapham of Clapham Cocktails. Inspired by the Champs-Élysées and named "after Marigny Square, which stands on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn famously watched a puppet show there in Charade (the 1963 film)."
