History:

Adapted from a recipe created in 2007 by Neyah White in San Francisco, USA.

Review:

The name of this bitter bittersweet and sour Margarita riff references amaro (meaning bitter) and the use of an Italian bitter liqueur. Many will want to add 5ml (1 bar spoon) of agave syrup to rebalance this cocktail.
