Chili Peas
Ingredients
- 1 oz Don't Call Me Sweet Pea Garden Amaro
- 1 oz Ancho Reyes chili liqueur
Method
Glass:
Serve in a Nick & Nora glass
How to make:
Shake over ice and strain into a Nick and Nora glass
Review:
Sweetness from the Sweet Pea amaro leads with a pleasant, lingering chili finish. A lovely apertivo, especially when it's -22 C outside.
History:
Inspired by a starter a a small restaurant in Victoria, BC. Field peas were flash fried then tossed in chili.
Garnish:
None when created, but a skewer of peas would be nice
