Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 oz Caribbean blended rum aged 6-10 years
- 3⁄4 oz Honey herbal liqueur
- 1⁄4 oz Torabhaig Peated Single Malt Whisky
- 3 drop Saline solution (20g sea salt to 80g water) or merest pinch of s
Method
Glassware:
Serve in an Old-fashioned glass
Prepare:
- Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
- Prepare garnish of pineapple wedge cut into nail-like shards.
Method:
- STIR all ingredients with ice.
- STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
Garnish:
- Garnish with pineapple shards.

Review:
Rum takes over from Scotch as the base spirit in this riff on a Rusty Nail, but peated single malt adds interest and keeps it a true Nail (a cocktail with Drambuie and Scotch whisky).
