Eureka Cocktail
Ingredients
- 3⁄4 oz Calvados / apple brandy / straight applejack
- 3⁄4 oz Hayman's Sloe Gin
- 1⁄6 oz Heering Cherry Liqueur
- 1⁄6 oz Lemon juice
Method
Glassware:
Serve in a Nick & Nora glass
Prepare:
- Select and pre-chill a NICK & NORA GLASS.
- Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
Method:
- SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
- FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
Garnish:
- EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

History:
Recipe adapted from a 1935 Bar Florida (later renamed Floridita) menu, Havana, Cuba. "Sherry Brandy" in the menu's recipe is presumed to be a typo for cherry brandy.
