Alaska (Difford's recipe)
Ingredients
- 1 disc Orange zest/swath
- 1 2⁄3 oz Hayman's Old Tom Gin
- 1⁄2 oz Yellow Chartreuse
- 2 dash Orange Bitters by Angostura
- 2 drop Saline solution (20g sea salt to 80g water) or merest pinch of s
- 1 dash La Fée Parisienne absinthe
- 1⁄4 oz Chilled water omit if using wet ice
Method
Glass:

Prepare:
- Select and pre-chill a NICK & NORA GLASS.
- Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
Method:
- SQUEEZE the oils of a coin-size orange zest into mixing glass and drop zest in.
- Add other ingredients, REGAL STIR with ice.
- STRAIN into chilled glass.
Garnish:
- EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
