History:

Adapted from a recipe created circa 2001 by Joseph Schwartz at New York's Milk & Honey after the owner, the late Sasha Petraske, brought a bottle of Licor 43 into the bar and challenged Joseph to come up with a new cocktail. This cocktail appears in Sasha's 2016 book Regarding Cocktails.

Review:

More pale golden yellow than silver, but this tasty cocktail is a rye whiskey-based challenger to the Gin Fizz.
