Black Widow's Bite
Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 oz Tito's Vodka
- 3⁄4 oz Bols Blue Curaçao
- 1 oz Orange juice
- 2 dash Orange Bitters by Angostura

Method:
- Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
- RIM glass with black salt (moisten outside edge with orange juice and dip into salt).
- SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
- FINE STRAIN strain into chilled and rimmed glass.

History:
Named after the character played by Scarlett Johansson in eight Marvel movies, including two which also starred Jeremy Renner. In 2023, Renner featured a Black Widow's Bite cocktail in a promotional video for delivery firm Drizly. His version of this cocktail was made with orange rather than blue curaçao and based on Sweet Grass Vodka, a brand he co-owns.
Review:
Essentially a Screwdriver blued (not quite blackened) by blue curaçao and served straight-up.
