History:

I named this riff on the Loch Almond after Knock Castle, also known as Caisteal Chamuis (Castle Camus), the former stronghold of the MacDonalds. Now in ruins, the castle stands on the east coast of Sleat, some five miles north of Armadale on the Isle of Skye.

Review:

Rich almond and delicate ginger spice mellow the whisky's peaty strength.
