Flor De Don Juan
Ingredients
- 4 fresh Basil leaves
- 1 2⁄3 oz José Cuervo Tradicional Reposado
- 2⁄3 oz Elderflower liqueur
- 1⁄3 oz Sugar syrup 'rich'
- 2⁄3 oz Lime juice
Method
Glassware:
Serve in an Old-fashioned glass
Prepare:
- Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
- Prepare garnish of thyme and basil sprigs.
Method:
- MUDDLE basil in base of shaker.
- Add other ingredients and SHAKE with ice.
- FINE STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
Garnish:
- Garnish with thyme and basil sprigs.
Review:
A basil tequila sour (Margarita if you will), sweetened with elderflower liqueur – basil and elderflower flavours sit well with the tequila and lime.
