Gimlet Cocktail (Charles H. Baker's 1939 recipe)
Ingredients
- 2 oz Tanqueray London Dry Gin
- 1⁄4 oz Sugar syrup 'rich'
- 1⁄6 oz Lime cordial
- 3⁄4 oz Chilled water
Method
Glassware:
Serve in a Coupe glass
Prepare:
- Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
- Prepare garnish of lime wedge.
Method:
- STIR all ingredients with ice.
- FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
Garnish:
- Garnish with lime wedge.
