Speyside Cocktail
Ingredients
- 7 fresh Green grapes
- 2 oz Dewar's 12 Year Old Scotch whisky
- 3⁄4 oz Luxardo Apricot Albicocca Liqueur
- 3⁄4 oz Pink grapefruit juice
Method
Glassware:
Serve in a Martini glass
Prepare:
- Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
- Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
Method:
- MUDDLE grapes in base of shaker.
- Add other ingredients.
- SHAKE with ice.
- FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
Garnish:
- EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
History:
Discovered in 2004 (originally named Speyside Martini) at Indigo Yard, Edinburgh, Scotland.
Review:
Scotch, grape juice, apricot liqueur and grapefruit may seem an unlikely combo but they get on well together.
