History:

Adapted from a recipe created circa 2012 by bar manager Brian MacGregor at Jardinière in Hayes Valley, San Francisco, California.

Review:

A genever (hence "Dutchman")-based Monte Cassino. Even with the genever at twice the proportion of rye whiskey in the equal parts Monte Cassino, the genever is overpowered by the other three ingredients in this very pleasant cocktail.
