History:

Adapted from a recipe created in 2021 by Martin Sheehan-Stross for Tribune Tavern, Oakland, California, USA. Named after nearby neighbouring Alameda, home to distilleries including St. George Spirits, makers of the vodka this cocktail was originally based on.

Review:

When I first tried this (in November 2023) it seemed familiar but I this combination of ingredients didn't already exist on our database. Not the most exciting cocktail I've added to Difford's Guide but it's well-balanced sweet 'n' sour almond-laced flavour will appeal to many and upset few.
