Rusty Compass cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 oz Torabhaig Peated Single Malt Whisky
- 3⁄4 oz Honey herbal liqueur
- 1⁄2 oz Heering Cherry Liqueur
Method
Glassware:
Serve in an Old-fashioned glass
Prepare:
- Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
- Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
Method:
- STIR all ingredients with ice.
- STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
Garnish:
- EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
History:
Based on a cocktail originally made with Compass Box The Peat Monster Malt Scotch Whisky and served straight-up in a coupe.
Review:
Peaty Islay single malt whisky lightly sweetened and flavoured with heather honey herbal whisky liqueur and cherry brandy, stirred and served on-the-rocks with an orange zest twist adding zestiness.
