High Society cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 1⁄3 oz Dewar's 12 Year Old Scotch whisky
- 1⁄4 oz Giffard Menthe Pastille white crème de menthe
- 1⁄12 oz Fernet Branca liqueur
Method
Glass:

Prepare:
- Select and pre-chill a NICK & NORA GLASS.
- Prepare garnish of mint leaf..
Method:
- THROW all ingredients with ice.
- STRAIN into chilled glass.
Garnish:
- Garnish with mint leaf pegged to rim.
History:
Adapted from a 2015 recipe by Maxime Verrier at Pollen Street Social, London who named this drink, inspired by the classic Stinger and Brandy Cocktail, after the eponymous 1956 movie High Society starring Frank Sinatra. The Stinger cocktail also appeared in the film.
Review:
Minty fresh Scotch whisky with herbal complexity courtesy of fernet liqueur.
