Ingredients
- 1 2⁄3 oz Cognac
- 1⁄2 oz Kummel liqueur
Method
Glass:

Prepare:
- Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
- Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
Method:
- STIR all ingredients with ice.
- FINE STRAIN into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).
Garnish:
- EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Review:
Originally served straight-up but better over ice, this cocktail is kümmel's answer to the Stinger. To quote Harry Craddock, "Brandy gives you courage and Kümmel makes you cautious, thus giving you the perfect mixture of bravery and caution, with the bravery predominating."
