Single Village Fix
Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 oz Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal
- 3⁄4 oz Lime juice
- 1⁄2 oz Monin Pineapple Syrup
- 1⁄6 oz Pineapple juice
- 6 drop Difford's Daiquiri Bitters optional
- 3 drop Saline solution (20g sea salt to 80g water) or merest pinch of s
Method
Glassware:
Serve in a Coupe glass
Prepare:
- Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
- Prepare garnish of lime wedge.
Method:
- SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
- FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
Garnish:
- Garnish with lime wedge.

Adapted from a recipe created in 2008 by Thad Vogler at his bar Beretta in San Francisco, USA. Originally, comprising just mezcal, pineapple syrup, and lime juice.
Review:
For the above recipe, depending on how ripe your pineapple/lime, you may want/need to add up to a spoonful of agave syrup. Naturally, I like to boost the pineapple complexity of this cocktail with a few drops of our Daiquiri Bitters.
