History:
This recipe came to be, as I wanted to try and combine something with Aperol, which this was the result I ended up coming with. The cocktail is called the Calendula, since Calendula flowers are bright orange flowers, that are native and are commonly found in Mediterranean countries, and since Aperol originates in Italy, with the first elderflower liqueur being St-Germin Eldeflower liqueur originating in France that being 2 Mediterranean Countires, not to mention that although Calendula liqueur doesn't exist, combining Aperol which is orange like Calendula flowers with a floral Liqueur such as Elderflower Liqueur, since well Elderflowers are flowers obviously, with the other 3 ingredients listed, making this cocktail being called the Calendula a perfect name, since calendula are also one of my personal favourite flowers
