Method

Glass:

Serve in a Coupe glass

How to make:

SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled coupe glass.

History:

I have tried a few Sidecars with various specs and this ratio strikes for me the best balance which highlights the taste of a quality Cognac but is not so dry as the one from mr. D. A. Embury.
The cognac I use is a VSOP and has 40% abv, so the specs are built around that. If you use higher ABV cognac, I would recommend increasing the the rest of ingredients slightly. Enjoy!
