Ingredients
- 12 fresh Mint leaves
- 1 3⁄4 oz Tanqueray London Dry Gin
- 1⁄2 oz Lemon juice
- 1⁄4 oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur
- 1⁄4 oz Sugar syrup 'rich'
Method
Glassware:
Serve in a Coupe glass
Prepare:
- Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
- Prepare garnish of Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.
Method:
- Gently MUDDLE mint in base of shaker (just to bruise).
- Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice.
- FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
Garnish:
- Garnish with skewered cherry.

The Sensation notably appeared in Harry Craddock's 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book.
