Coffee Old Fashioned
Ingredients
- 2⁄3 oz Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur
- 1 1⁄3 oz WhistlePig 10yo Straight Rye Whisky
- 2 dash Orange Bitters by Angostura
Method
Glassware:
Serve in an Old-fashioned glass
Prepare:
- Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
- Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
Method:
- STIR all ingredients with ice.
- FINE STRAIN into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).
Garnish:
- EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Review:
I've made with rye whisky to deliver that spicy punch but others specify Irish whiskey. However, coffee is the hero in this Old Fashioned so your choice of coffee liqueur will have a bigger impact.
