History:

Adapted from a recipe in Harry Craddock's 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book.

Review:

The classic recipe omits the sugar syrup, which makes this drink too sour for my taste. Duly sweetened, it is very much in the Sidecar or even Apple Cart vein.
